The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, it was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy @ the Ramblings of a coffee addict. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week's topic is Do you enjoy reading romance novels? If so, which romance trope is your favorite?

I do not read a lot of romance, nor do there tend to be romance subplots in the books that I read. I don't know if it's a genre that I'm particularly interested in branching out into either.

I have, however, over the years read a decent amount of fanfiction and my knowledge of romance tropes comes from this - specifically Gibbs/DiNozzo fic!

I think my favourite is a friends-to-lovers, especially if one (or both) of them don't realise the other also has feelings for them. It's even better if everyone else assumes they're already dating because of how they act around each other.

And, being that I love Gibbs/DiNozzo, you kind of automatically get a Grumpy Vs Sunshine.
Second Chance Romance also makes me very happy.
So does forced proximity (there was only one bed!)
